  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs.

  • Provide and maintain the Catalyst service
  • Process your opportunity submissions through AI analysis
  • Generate AI-powered scores, briefs, and blueprints
  • Manage your account and vault
  • Send service-related notifications
  • Improve our AI scoring algorithms and platform features
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. AI Processing

When you submit a problem for scoring, your submission is processed by Google's Gemini 1.5 Pro AI model via Vertex AI. This processing occurs in Google Cloud's infrastructure. We do not use your submissions to train AI models. The AI-generated scores and analyses are stored in our database associated with your submission.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Firebase (authentication, database), Google Cloud (AI processing), Stripe (payments).
  • Public Visibility: Opportunities you mark as "public" are visible to other users on the browse page.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication security, Firestore security rules, and secure session management. However, no electronic storage method is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information as long as your account is active. Opportunity submissions and vault data are retained until you delete them or close your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

9. Children's Privacy

Catalyst is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
